About Gamekeepers Cottage
Gamekeepers holiday cottage is a small self contained property in the beautiful village of Askrigg .
The cottage has its own entrance from the garden allowing guests complete privacy. The ground floor consists of a combined kitchen and living area and a ground floor bathroom / WC with a large shower. The kitchen area has an electric stove and a microwave oven, all crockery and cutlery are provided. Television, DVD player are provided and Wi-Fi is available. The cottage has central heating and an extra heater if needed.
A small (but steep) flight of stairs lead up to the spacious bedroom which can sleep up to three people and has a kingsize and a single bed. We welcome small pets but they must be cat friendly . Guests have full use of the large pleasant garden during their stay.
Children are very welcome , but please let us know . We do have stair gates please note that although there are only 6 stairs they are quite steep.
Parking is usually possible outside of the main house .
The cottage is situated in the centre of the village, close to the village shop, three pubs, and Bakewell cafe all of which serve delicious food.
The village is an ideal base for walkers and cyclists .
A 20 % deposit is required when booking , the balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. Arrival is after 4pm and we ask that you depart by 10 am .

Price includes linen and towels , electricity and heating.
